Directions
Coldstream is 30 minutes from Kelowna International Airport, at the north end of Kalamalka Lake just south of Vernon. If you are driving here expect breathtaking views of mountains and lakes along the way. The Coldstream Community Hall has a small parking lot, and there is plenty of overflow parking along the road. There are many accommodation options, but please book early, as late June is the beginning of the summer tourist season. There are some good nearby camping options for outdoorsy folks. There are also some nice BnBs and various hotels.

Summer activities nearby
Coldstream is part of Greater Vernon - the Trails Capital of B.C. - on the shores of Kalamalka Lake. The Okanagan is also the premier wine region in Canada. It’s like a destination wedding, except we live here!

EAT & DRINK
There are many food choices in Vernon and the surrounding area. Some of the best eateries are at local wineries, cideries, and brew pubs. Excellent options range from highbrow to lowbrow.
PLAY
The lake may be a bit cool for swimming, but great for paddling, sunbathing, and boating. The Okanagan Rail Trail follows the shore of Kalamalka Lake and is wonderful for biking, walking and stopping for a quick dip. There are bike and paddle board rentals nearby, and many options for other scenic walks for a range of physical abilities.
EXPLORE
The Okanagan Valley is spectacularly beautiful, famous for its deep blue lakes, orchards and vineyards. People come from all over the world to go on wine tours, golf, hike, bike, and play in the lakes. There is a ton of sightseeing in the immediate area.
